This interesting twist on the traditional breakfast favorite is easy to make and a great way to start off the day.Also a great meal or snack for thoses that need to maintain a high calorie diet,eg.kids with Cystic Fibrosis,bodybuilders and thoses that can not absorb many calories from the foods they eat. Ingredients:
4 slices whole wheat bread |
1/4 c. peanut butter |
2 tbsp. jelly |
2 eggs |
1/4 c. heavy cream |
3 tbsp. butter |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs and cream together. 2. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. 3. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, coating well. 4. Place in skillet and brown both sides. 5. Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread. 6. Spread jelly on the other two slices of bread. 7. Put one slice of each together to form sandwiches. 8.
