Got this recipe years ago I dont remember from whom but its very good Ingredients:
4 tablespoons oil |
1 onion, chopped |
2 -3 celery ribs, peeled and diced |
2 -3 potatoes, peeled and diced |
2 tablespoons parsley |
2 teaspoons fresh savory or 1 teaspoon dried savory |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup milk |
2 cups chicken broth |
2 cups chicken, cooked |
1 cup corn |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil and stir in the onion and celery cooking for 5 minutes Add potatoes, cover and cook on low for 10 minutes. 2. Stir in the herbs. 3. Mix flour with milk to make a thin paste. 4. Add the milk and the chicken broth to pot and bring to a boil. 5. Simmer until the vegies are done but mushy. 6. Stir in the chicken and corn, add salt and pepper. 7. Cook gently 5 minutes. |
