Ham-wrapped bananas to be served at room temperature. Who would have thought ham and bananas but the French! Ingredients:
4 bananas |
4 slices ham |
6 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated |
1/2 cup double cream |
paprika |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel bananas and sprinkle generously with salt, pepper and paprika. 2. Wrap each banana in a slice of ham and place in a greased, oven-proof dish. Pour cream over all and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. 3. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve cold (but not refrigerated). |
