My mom made this when my brother & I were kids and I have always had fond memories of it :) She pulled out the recipe yesterday and made one and it was just as good as I remember LOL You can make your own crust or buy a pre-made crust; either way works :) Ingredients:
12 inches prepared pizza crust |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed bean with bacon soup |
1/4 cup ketchup |
2 -3 tablespoons prepared mustard |
3 -4 teaspoons dried onion flakes |
12 ounces frankfurters, cut in 1/2-inch slices (low fat is fine) |
4 -8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Combine soup, ketchup, mustard, onion & sliced franks. 3. Spread topping over crust, to the edges and top with cheese. 4. Bake on bottom rack of oven for 20-25 minutes or until hot and melty. 5. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting (squares are easier to eat than wedges for this pizza). |
