Sweet and delish!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 cup sugar
1 8-ounce box chopped dates
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cup rice cereal (recommended rice crispies)
3 cup finely grated coconut
Directions:
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
2. Add eggs, sugar, and dates.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in vanilla, nuts, and Rice Crispies.
6. Cool and shape into finger-sized sticks.
7. Roll in coconut.
