Pat's Best-Ever Carrots

Recipe taken from my Timeless Recipes cookbook. A nice combination of carrots, pineapple and orange zest. A nice holiday recipe.
Ingredients:
1 lb carrot
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons butter
grated peel of one orange (or to taste)
1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Directions:
1. Cut the carrots into strips. Cook in a small amount of water in a saucepan until tender-crisp. Combine the brown sugar, butter, orange peel, and pineapple in a skillet. Bring to a boil. Add the carrots, stirring until glazed.
