I make this every year for the 4th of July. Ingredients:
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled |
1 1/2 teaspoons milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon honey mustard |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
8 ounces penne or zita pasta, cooked and cooled |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, or to taste |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half |
3 green onions, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced |
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, milk, salt, vinegar, garlic powder, honey mustard, black pepper and cayenne. 2. In large bowl, toss together remaining ingredients. 3. Pour dressing over and toss to coat. 4. Cover and chill several hours. |
