This recipe goes with Cocoa Meringue Shells with Glazed Fresh Fruits Ingredients:
1 cup 1% low-fat milk |
3 tablespoons sugar |
4 teaspoons cornstarch |
1 large egg |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of a double boiler; cook over simmering water 8 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly with a whisk. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into a bowl; cover surface of cream with plastic wrap. Chill. |
