2 medium carrots, peeled and diced |
3/4 cup pastina |
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese |
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth, carrots and 2 cups water to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes. Add pastina and oregano and cook until carrots and pasta are tender, about 5 minutes longer. 3. Stir in cheese and parsley. Season with pepper. |
