Pasta with Walnut-Basil Pesto |

from Prevention's Flat Belly Foods. The original recipe used angel hair pasta, but we used rotini instead. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups fresh basil, packed |
1/2 cup walnuts |
1 clove garlic |
1 tbsp virgin olive oil |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes, crushed |
8 oz pasta |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated |
Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients in the food processor, except the pasta. 2. Cook pasta, add it to the pesto and toss. |
