Pasta With Marscapone Cheese And Walnuts |

This is good as a side dish to fish or chicken or as a main dish with a dinner salad. This is easy to make and looks very impressive. You won't be disappointed. Ingredients:
4 ounces dried tricolor medium shell macaroni |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
2 tablespoons butter |
4 ounes mascarpone cheese |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons finely shredded parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts toasted |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions then drain and set aside. 2. In a medium saucepan cook the green onion in butter over medium high heat for 1 minute. 3. Reduce heat and add mascarpone cheese and cook and stir until cheese melts. 4. Add milk and stir until sauce is smooth then stir in parmesan cheese. 5. Pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat. 6. Sprinkle with toasted walnuts. |
