pasta with cheese and sauce Ingredients:
250 g dry pasta, bowties or 250 g penne |
150 g mozzarella cheese, shredded |
300 g tomatoes, pureed |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 cup red wine |
1 teaspoon salt |
5 fresh basil leaves, chopped finely |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
2 sprigs parsley, chopped finely |
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta as directed on packaging. Once pasta has cooked, start to prepare the sauce. 2. To prepare the sauce add tomato puree, basil, parsley, salt, sugar and red wine into a saucepan. Boil and reduce to simmer, 20 minutes. 3. Put pasta in bowl and place sauce ontop. 4. Garnish with the cheese and fresh basil leaves. |
