Pasta with Brussels Sprouts |

Even family members who don't care for brussels sprouts won't be able to resist them tossed with pasta in a light cream sauce. Ingredients:
6 cups water |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 package (16 ounces) frozen brussels sprouts |
1 cup uncooked spiral pasta |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream |
2 tablespoons grated onion |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add brussels sprouts and pasta. Return to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes or until sprouts and pasta are tender. Drain. 2. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over pasta mixture and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings. |
