Tomatoes, garlic and basil, tossed with pasta Ingredients:
2 tbsp garlic |
2 tbsp olive oil |
32 ounces canned diced tomatoes (no salt added) |
1 cup low sodium chicken broth |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
1 cup fresh chopped basil |
2 tbsp capers |
12 oz cooked pasta |
Directions:
1. Sautee garlic in olive oil. Drain tomatoes and add. 2. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper and simmer. Add chopped basil and capers. 3. Cook pasta and drain. Add drained pasta to tomato mixture and toss. |
