This was given to me by my college roomates' mother. It is very simple and satisfying. Thanks Mrs. Hunter! Ingredients:
1 (40 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (40 ounce) can water |
3/4 cup parmesan cheese |
2 (14 ounce) cans great northern beans, drained |
1 1/2 cups ditali pasta, uncooked |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/4 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. In a large pot over medium high heat, saute garlic in oil until fragrant. 2. Add tomato sauce, water, cheese and beans. Cook on low. 3. In a separate pot, cook pasta. Drain and add to soup. 4. Cook on low for a few minutes to combine flavors, serve hot! |
