pasta bake casserole Ingredients:
1 lb penne pasta |
1 1/2 lbs italian sausage |
2 bell peppers |
1 onion |
1 tablespoon garlic |
15 ounces crushed tomatoes in puree |
15 ounces tomato puree |
8 ounces mozzarella cheese |
4 tablespoons romano cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage, then slice and finish browning. Then add peppers, onions, garlic and cook 10 min covered. In the meantime boil pasta, two minutes less than normal. Then combine the meat, peppers, etc. with the 30 oz. of tomatoes and sauce, bring to a boil, then simmer 10 minute Add pasta and mozarella cheese cubes at the end. Pour into a baking pan and top with romano cheese. 20 minutes at 400. |
