On the menu when my passionfruit vine starts fruiting, from BH&G. Ingredients:
1 cup passion fruit pulp (approx 10-12 passionfruit) |
2 teaspoons citric acid |
2 cups white sugar |
1 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Pour passionfruit pulp into a bowl with the citric acid & stir to combine. 2. Put water 7 sugar into a saucepan & simmer over a low heat until suagr dissolves, bring to the boil & simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Remove syrup from heat & allow to cool slightly, pour it over the passionfruit pulp & stir until combined. Pour into sterilised bottles & refrigerate. 4. NB/If you don't want seeds in your cordial, strain the pulp but bear in mind you'll likely need to increase the amount of passionfruits used to make up 1 cup pulp. |
