I haven't made this recipe, but it sounds like it would be quick, easy and delicious. Parve is a Jewish term for all foods which do not fall into the meat or dairy category. They can be freely consumed with either meat or dairy. Ingredients:
3 eggs, well beaten |
1 3/4 cups sugar |
1 cup vegetable oil |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned) |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease and lightly flour a 13 x 9 pan. 2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together, by hand until thoroughly mixed. 3. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake at 375ºF for 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in middle comes out clean. |
