from a community cookbook-parve means no dairy. I used salted margarine or you could use butter. Ingredients:
8 ounces noodles |
3 eggs, separated |
2 teaspoons melted margarine |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
one lemon, juiced (or one orange) |
3/4 cup raisins |
2 apples, peeled and chopped |
3 tablespoons wine |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles, drain and mix with melted margarine. 2. Beat egg yolks and add sugar, vanilla, juice, apples and wine. Blend into noodles thoroughly. 3. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into noodle mixture. 4. Pour into greased 8 square pan and bake in 350F preheated oven for 40 minutes. |
