These are just right if you are having a party or special event.Can be served anywhere, anytime, anyplace!! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/3 cup light corn syrup |
1/3 cup water |
1/4 cup butter |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3 quarts popped corn |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt in saucepan. 2. Cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved. 3. Cook, without stirring to 270 degrees to 290 degrees on a candy thermometer. 4. Add vanilla stir just enough to mix. 5. Place popcorn in a large bowl. 6. Pour syrup over the bowl slowly and mix. 7. Wet hands slightly and shape into popcorn balls. |
