2 teaspoon(s) italian seasoning mix |
1 jar(s) (48 oz.) spag. sauce |
1 can(s) (14.5 oz.)diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 egg |
1 container(s) (15 oz.) ricotta cheese |
2 cup(s) (8 oz.) moz. cheese, divided shredded |
1/4 cup(s) fresh parsley snipped |
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper |
1/2 cup(s) (2 oz.)parm. cheese,divided grated |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350* . cook pasta acc. to package in dutch oven;drain. place onion,beef and garlic in skillet. cook and stir over med. heat 8-10 min.drain. sprinkle with seasoning,stir in sauce and tomatoes. in small bowl, beat egg,add ricotta cheese, i cup moz. cheese, parsley and pepper.add all but 1/4 cup parm. cheese. place pasta in baking pan. add 6 cups of sauce mix; mix well. spread ricotta mix over pasta. top with remaining meat sauce. bake 1 hour. top with remaining moz. and parm. cheeses. continue baking 10 min. |
