Party Cabbage Slaw

This slaw needs to marinate in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight for the flavor to develop it's tasty and great for a party
Ingredients:
2 medium heads of green cabbage, shredded & chopped
1 large onion, shredded & chopped
1 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
1 cup canola oil
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 tablespoons sea salt
1 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons celery seeds
1/2 cup chopped pimento peppers , or use some red chopped bell pepper instead as this added for color
Directions:
1. Layer the cabbage and onion alternately in a large
2. glass or ceramic bowl.
3. In a medium saucepan,combine the vinegar with the oil,sugar,chicken stock, salt,peppers,dry mustard,celery and mustard seeds.
4. Bring to a boil,then pour the mixture over the cabbage and onion.
5. Do not mix.
6. Let the slaw marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours or
7. overnight.
8. Toss before serving
