Parsnip Crisps

Delicious, dead easy.
Ingredients:
parsnips
oil for deep-frying
seasoning
Directions:
1. Wash and peel the parsnips.
2. Cut long, thin slices using a vegetable peeler or mandolin. Sometimes the core is stringy and best avoided.
3. Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or thick saucepan, to180C/350f/Gas4. A cube of bread should sizzle and brown.
4. Fry the parsnips in batches until crisp and golden brown. Drain onto kitchen towel.
5. Serve with plain or sea salt, soy sauce or sweet chilli
