It was late and i was craving comfort food, but didnt want the same ol' same ol' grilled cheese. I wanted somthing CHEESIER... and rich... and salty. I searched a few recipes and THIS is what I came up with.... simply scrumptious. Id even go so far as to dare say it would be even better with some caramelized onions.... Next time! Ingredients:
2 slices white bread |
2 slices mild cheddar cheese |
grated parmesan cheese |
mayonnaise |
butter |
Directions:
1. heat a skillet on medium heat. 2. spread one side of each bread slice with butter, sprinkle with generous ammount of grated parmesean cheese. 3. Spread other side of each bread slice with maynaise. Sprinkle with parmesean cheese. place Cheddar slices on the maynaise side of bread, and top with other bread slice. 4. brown in skillet until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown. 5. Let cool slightly, and slice on the diagonal. Enjoy! |
