These look so pretty! They are made in no time - 30 minutes total! These will look great on your holiday table! BH&G Magazine, November 2008 edition. Enjoy! ;) Ingredients:
11 ounces package refrigerated breadstick dough |
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese or 3 tablespoons romano cheese |
1 teaspoon sesame seeds |
1/2 teaspoon dried italian seasoning, crushed |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. 2. Separate breadsticks and uncoil into individual pieces. 3. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 12-inch-long rope. 4. Tie each rope in a loose knot, leaving 2 long ends. 5. Tuck the top end of the rope under roll. 6. Bring bottom end up and tuck into center of roll. 7. In a shallow dish combine Parmesan or Romano cheese, sesame seeds, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. 8. Brush top and sides of each rosette with melted butter. 9. Carefully dip the top and sides of each rosette into the cheese mixture. 10. Place rosettes 2 to 3 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. 11. Bake in preheated oven about 15 minutes or until golden. 12. Serve warm. |
