Just throwing what I had into the mix for burgers last night, and came up with these. Great flavor and easy easy!! Serve on large onion or kaiser rolls. Ingredients:
2. 5 lbs ground chuck or sirloin (15-20% fat - less will make for dry burgers) |
1 package ranch dressing mix |
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese |
1 package beefy onion mushroom soup mix |
1 egg, beaten |
1 t minced garlic |
3-4 t worcestershire |
1 t liquid smoke, or 1 t charcoal grill taste dry rub |
1 t seasoned salt |
1 t garlic pepper |
8 slices provolone cheese (or your fave) |
1 white onion, sliced |
sliced fresh mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients - except provolone - well with hands, quickly (handling too much will make tougher burgers) 2. Shape into 8 patties, large and about 1 inch thick 3. Grill to desired doneness, turning once, AVOID mashing with the spatula! 4. Add cheese slices 5. Butter insides of rolls and place on grill. 6. I sauteed onions and fresh mushrooms with oliveoil, garlic, butter and worcestershire for a topping. |
