These are way better than ordinary french fries. A big hit at my nieces last sleep over. Ingredients:
2 pounds russet potatoes |
1/2 cup fine seasoned bread crumbs |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes. 2. Cut lengthwise into quarters. 3. Cut each quarter into 3 strips. 4. In a bowl, mix crumbs, cheese, salt, garlic power and pepper. 5. Roll potato strips in melted butter. 6. Then, roll in crumb mixture. 7. Place in a single layer onto a cookie sheet or shallow baking dish that is sprayed with cooking spray. 8. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until potatoes are tender. 9. Dip in your favorite dressing or condiment. |
