A nice change of pace from the usual french fries. Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
2 lbs potatoes |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 2. Melt butter. 3. Coat a 9 x 13 dish with nonstick cooking spray. 4. In a small bowl combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well and set aside. 5. Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise into quarters; cut each quarter lengthwise into 3 strips. 6. Dip each strip in the melted butter, then in Parmesan mixture, coating completely. 7. Place in a single layer in the baking dish. 8. Pour any remaining melted butter over potatoes. 9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, turning them over once or twice. |
