Parmesan Portobellos N Marinara Sauce |

Great side dish with italian flare! Found this online a few years ago, and have modified to this version. Super simple and Super tasty! Ingredients:
1 16-ounce ounce jar marinara sauce |
2 t garlic |
2 t italian seasoning |
6-8 large portobello mushrooms |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Coat an 9-by13-inch glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. 3. Stir seasoning and garlic into sauce 4. Spread 3/4 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the dish. 5. Trim the mushrooms so they fit in one layer; use the trimmed pieces to fill in where needed. 6. Pour the remaining sauce over the mushrooms. 7. Sprinkle with Parmesan then Mozzerella 8. Sprinkle with a little more italian seasoning 9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. 10. Let stand a couple of minutes before serving. |
