So easy, so fast and so good! My family doesn't tire of this dish, and it's always a hit at potlucks. There are a lot of Parmesan Noodle recipes out there, but because of its simplicity and garlic focus, this one's the best. Ingredients:
8 ounces noodles (corkscrew are my favorite, but absolutely any kind can be used) |
1 -3 tablespoon olive oil (amount depends on how rich or low in fat you want the sauce) |
4 -8 minced or pressed garlic cloves (amount depends on how garlicky you like it) |
2 tablespoons milk (optional) |
1 cup parmesan cheese (or any hard cheese) |
salt & freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside. 2. Heat oil in saucepan on medium heat, add garlic and fry until light brown. 3. Add milk, cheese and noodles to the pan, and cook until cheese melts and browns a little. Season with salt and pepper. 4. Optional: For a one-dish meal, add steamed vegetables such as broccoli, peas and carrots. |
