Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef |
1 egg, beaten |
1 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese |
1 small onion, finely chopped |
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper |
1 cup cracker crumbs |
3/4 cup whole or evaporated milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chili sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except chili sauce; press into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Turn out onto a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Spread chili sauce over top and return to the oven. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer, ot until thoroughly cooked |
