These are great little buttery rolls made from refrigerated buttermilk biscuits. Can be kept in freezer and reheated.
Ingredients:
1/2c canola oil
1/4c grated parmesan cheese
11/2tsp dried parsley flakes
11/2 tsp dried oregano
1tsp garlic powder
dash of pepper
3 tubes(12 oz. ea.)refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Directions:
1. In small bowl,combine oil,cheese parsley,oregano,garlic powder and pepper;set aside.
2. Cut each biscuit in half. Rolleach portion into 6 rope;tie in a loose knot. Place on greased baking sheets.
3. Bake at 400 for 8 to 11 mins. or till golden brown;immedately brush with the parmesan mixture. Serve warm or freeze up to 2 months.
4. To use frozen knots:Reheat,unthawed,at 350 for 15 to 20 mins.
5. Note: You can use different combinations of toppings on these. Sometimes,I just use salt,oil and poppy seeds.
