THis quick version of homemade bread is to die for. The topping on this delicious bread gives a subtle, savory taste to the whole loaf. Prep time doesn't include the time for rising. Ingredients:
1 loaf rhodes™ bread dough |
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese |
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes |
2 teaspoons dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Place dough in an 8 x 4 x 2-inch sprayed loaf pan. 2. Thaw according to package directions. 3. In a small bowl mix cheese, parsley, oregano and salt. 4. Brush loaf with butter and sprinkle with cheese mixture. 5. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until 1-inch above pan. Remove wrap and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. |
