PARMESAN BISCUITS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Parker Estate in Dallas, Texas in 2006. Date and source unknown. Marked as family favorite. Read more Ingredients:
2 ounces salted butter |
2 ounces plain flour |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
2 ounces grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cream butter. 2. Season flour with peppers and work in butter with cheese. 3. Knead until smooth and chill for 30 minutes or until stiffened. 4. Roll out onto a floured board to desired thickness. 5. Cut into small rounds or squares and place on a greased baking tray and flatten. 6. Prick well with a fork then bake at 350 for 10 minutes then cool on a wire rack. |
