This basket is made to eat! The edges are delicate and lacy. Goes well with Mesclun lettuces and viniagrettes. Use shredded not grated parmesan (inexpensive) Ingredients:
shredded (not grated) parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat 10 inch nonstick skillet over medium-high. 2. Sprinkle Parmesan into a disk shape. 3. Note: Keep cheese light around the edges-so that it looks lacy. 4. When disk is lightly golden underneath, carefully remove it using a spatula and your fingers. 5. Quickly drape disk over the bottom of a water glass, golden side up, and press to form a bowl. 6. Cooled baskets can sit for several hours. |
