                                                1/4 cup milk  |  
                                                1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine  |  
                                                1/2 cup all-purpose flour  |  
                                                1 teaspoon dried basil leaves  |  
                                                1/8 teaspoon ground pepper  |  
                                                2 eggs  |  
                                                1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. 2. IN A 2 -QUART SAUCEPAN BRING MILK AND BUTTER TO A FULL BOIL (2-3 MINUTES ). 3. STIR IN FLOUR, BASIL AND PEPPER. 4. COOK OVER LOW HEAT, STIRRING VIGOROUSLY, UNTIL MIXTURE FORMS A BALL. 5. REMOVE FROM HEAT. 6. ADD EGGS, ONE A TIME, STIRRING VIGOROUSLY UNTIL SMOOTH. 7. STIR IN PARMESAN CHEESE. 8. DROP ABOUT 1/4 CUP DOUGH 2 INCHES APART ONTO 15 x 10 x 1-INCH JELLY ROLL PAN. 9. BAKE FOR 18 TO 22 MINUTES, OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. 10.
