Crunchy and buttery coating made with crackers and Parmesan cheese. Ingredients:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons 2% low-fat milk |
1 cup crushed butter flavored cracker |
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
6 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each) |
Directions:
1. Place flour in a shallow bowl. 2. In a separate shallow bowl, whisk egg and milk. 3. In a third shallow bowl, combine the crackers, cheese, salt and pepper. 4. Dip pork chops in the flour, egg mixture, then cracker mixture. 5. Place butter in a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; add pork chops. 6. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a thermometer reads 145°. 7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. |
