Ingredients:
1 pound lean boneless pork, cut into 3/4-inch cubes |
2 teaspoons lard or shortening |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 cup chopped celery |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons molasses |
hot cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Sauté pork cubes in lard in a large skillet; add salt and paprika , mixing well. Stir in celery, onion, and molasses. Add water to cover. Cook mixture, covered, over medium heat 30 minutes. Reduce heat; uncover and cook an additional 15 minutes , stirring mixture frequently. Serve over hot cooked rice. |
