I know this sounds bad, but I would not post it if I hadn't been so surprised to want seconds (and thirds) of it myself... & the story goes: I threw out a loaf of moldy sesame semolina one strange night when my husband was doing dishes. Read more . Now, normally my hub is the one throwing moldy food out and I am the one sneaking it back off the top of the trash when no one is looking to cut the moldy part off and serve to the unsuspecting family a n hour later... But tonight it was backwards and my husband did dishes and made dinner and apparently snuck into the trash too... enjoy! Ingredients:
loaf of crusty artisian bread (we use sesame semolina) |
1/2 stick butter |
1 can salmon, drained |
maybe a bit of fresh ground pepper |
wedge of lemon |
Directions:
1. cut slits in bread. 2. insert pats of butter. 3. The more butter, the merrier. 4. empty a can or two of drained salmon on top of bread. 5. heat in oven 10-15 minutes, or until the smell is really quite enough. 6. take it out! 7. serve with fresh ground pepper and a squeeze of lemon. 8. and I always need extra butter. |
