This is a delicious and simple to make chili that my dad has been making for years. My boys love it and it is not to spicy. If you like a more spicy Chili try using the regular Chili Seasoning. You can use any kind of beans you want and any kind of cheese to change it up too.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef, browned
2 pacakges mccormick's mild chili seasoning mix
5 (15 1/2 ounce) kidney beans, drained
2 (29 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, drained
1 lb cheddar cheese (cubed or shredded)
Directions:
1. Place Ground Beef, Chili Mix, Kidney Beans and Tomato Sauce in a large 6 quart Crockpot and stir well. This makes a FULL POT so be careful!
2. Cook on low until hot and bubbly about 5 - 6 hours.
3. Add the Cheese and allow it to simmer on low for another half hour.
4. Serve with crackers or chips and enjoy!
