Ernest Hemingway loved his libations strong. This drink, which contains a double shot of rum, was named for him, the father of the double shots, Papa Dobles. The drink, as with many Cuban cocktails, is strong, tart, and limey. Ingredients:
3 ounces white rum |
2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice |
1 ounce fresh key lime juice |
1 ounce maraschino cherry juice |
Directions:
1. Place rum and juices in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until frosty. 2. Pour into a large wide-mouthed glass, such as s large daiquiri or martini glass and serve. |
