This is an easy dish, if you have everything in the pantry. I came up with the recipe after having it in a diner. I use ground turkey instead of beef. Sometimes I make this in a crockpot (low for a few hours), adding the cooked macaroni at the end of cooking. For zesty flavor, you can add in 1/2 jar pasta sauce. Ingredients:
3/4 lb ground beef, cooked (i use ground turkey) |
2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth |
2 (10 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup |
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning |
4 cups cooked salad macaroni |
Directions:
1. Combine first five ingredients in in a soup pot and simmer for 30 minutes. 2. Add cooked macaroni just prior to serving. 3. Top with parmesan cheese, if desired. |
