This only takes minutes to prepare. Serve hot with syrup, jam or fruit. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
2 cups milk |
4 eggs, slightly beaten |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
syrup or jam or fruit |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Put 1/2 cup butter in 13x9x2 inch pan; put in oven to melt. 3. Keep warm until batter is ready. 4. Meanwhile, add 2 cups milk to eggs. 5. Combine flour, sugar and salt; stir into milk and eggs. 6. Add remaining milk and 1/4 cup melted butter. 7. Pour mixture into hot pan. 8. Bake about 40 minutes or until brown and puffy. 9. Serve hot with toppings of choice. |
