This method makes for a juicy pork chop..Can be made with bone in or boneless. Never really measured when making a breading station so just guesstimating Ingredients:
4 pork chops, bone in or boneless, 3/4-1 in. thick |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup flour |
1 1/2 cups panko bread crumbs |
1 tsp. thyme |
1/2 tsp. ground sage |
salt and pepper to taste |
olive oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 2. In wide shallow bowl, add flour, salt, and pepper 3. In another bowl, add eggs 4. In another bowl, add bread crumbs, sage, thyme, and salt and pepper 5. In saute pan, heat olive oil to medium high heat 6. In order, flour chop, egg it, then lastly, dredge in bread crumbs 7. Cook in saute pan until golden brown on both sides 8. Put into oven, pan and all(if handle not heat resistant, wrap in foil) 9. Cook until temp. of 140-145 10. Remove from oven 11. Tent with foil 12. Rest for 5 minutes |
