a recipe that I found in my filing cabinet, that was hiding for a long time. Ingredients:
3 cups diced cooked ham |
1 lb smoked sausage |
3 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chilies |
1 onion, chopped |
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, liquid reserved |
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 teaspoons ground cumin |
1 tablespoon cocoa powder, mix |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
Directions:
1. Cut sausage into 1/2 inch pieces. 2. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients and stir well. 3. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours. 4. Serve with buttered flour tortillas. |
