Wanted to try to make recipes from scratch and pulled this together. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup milk |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
strawberries (optional) or blueberries (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, salt & baking powder into a pouring bowl and mix. 2. Whisk milk, egg & vanilla extract in separate bowl. 3. Slowly pour mix into dry ingredients and whisk together until blended. Small lumps are OK. 4. Add optional fruit/spice. Tastes good without also. 5. Pour batter onto medium heat skillet and flip once the top of the batter bubbles. |
