Pan-Seared Steaks with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce |

Pan-seared beef is a classic go-to for a quick, delicious dinner. With only a few ingredients, you can cook a wonderful steak and a roasted red pepper sauce. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon roasted garlic-pepper seasoning or 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided |
4 (4-ounce) lean, boneless beef tenderloin steaks (1 inch thick) |
olive oil-flavored cooking spray |
1 (7-ounce) jar roasted red peppers in water, drained |
Directions:
1. Combine garlic pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Rub both sides of steaks with pepper mixture. 2. Place a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat until hot. Add steaks; cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until done. 3. While steaks cook, place peppers and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt in container of an electric blender. Cover and process until smooth. Serve steaks with roasted red pepper sauce. |
