I found this in an advertorial about glycerine in an old issue of Good Taste. Glycerine has skin-softening properties and this is a lovely soothing soak that will soften & relax tired feet, great after a hectic week. Add a glass of wine to drink & your in heaven! Ingredients:
15 g olive oil soap, grated |
1/2 cup hot water |
1 tablespoon gelatin, powder |
1 tblps glycerine |
2 teaspoons rose water or 2 teaspoons orange flower water |
hot water, extra |
Directions:
1. Add grated soap to a bowl & pour over hot water, stir until the soap dissolves. 2. Sprinkle with gelatine and whisk with a fork until it dissolves and the mixture is creamy. 3. Whisk in glycerine & rosewater or orange flower water. 4. Pour the mixture into a basin big enough for your feet and add extra water, just enough to cover your feet fully. 5. Relax & enjoy! |
