A basic recipe for paleo-style salsa. Add a habanero pepper for an extra kick! Ingredients:
6 roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped |
1/2 red onion, coarsely chopped |
1 lime, juiced |
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped |
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped |
1 habanero pepper, chopped (optional) |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine tomatoes, onion, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, habanero pepper, garlic, and ground black pepper in a food processor. Pulse several times until desired texture is reached. |
