This recipe started out hamburgers, however it is more like meatballs or meatloaf. I tried a recipe from Chef Ramsey one of the cooking shows a few months ago and I was very dissapointed in the results. So, throwing caution to the wind, I made my own recipe. Cooking time will depend on how large you make the burgers. I covered them at the end to cook through. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs ground beef round |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
3 small chopped onions |
3 tablespoons ketchup |
2 tablespoons romano cheese |
3 sprigs oregano |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Mix gently with your hands. 3. Shape either into burgers or meatballs. 4. Fry in nonstick skillet with one Tablespoon olive oil. 5. I used a grill pan. 6. **** Optional add 2 slices of cheese. |
